Future of Ghana Youth Leadership Forum at Ashesi University
Me Firi Ghana, the organisation that aims to connect the world with Ghana and create a self sustaining Ghana has launched the annual Future of Ghana Youth Leadership Forum, a unique gathering of Ghana’s young leaders, solution providers, future leaders and pioneers.
Taking place at one of Africa’s leading and most renowned educational institutions Ashesi University (1 University Avenue, Berekuso, Ghana) from 3-5 August 2015, the forum will act as the stepping stone to organizing and mobilizing a generation of leaders for the development of Ghana.
The leadership forum is a follow up to the publication of the Top 30 U30 Digital Future of Ghana back in March, which showcased the top 30 under 30 emerging Ghanaian talent from various professional fields from around the world. Covered by TVC News, the launch event for the publication which took place at the Ghana High Commission in Highgate, London was extremely well attended, with a 90% second generation (18-35) of skilled Diasporans keen to connect with each other and Ghana. Day 1 (Monday 3 August) of the forum will focus on the under 18’s Leadership Forums for pre-selected students, whilst Day 2 and 3 (Tuesday 4th & Wednesday 5th August) will consist of the 18-30’s Leadership Forum open to all within this age group. Entry for Day 2 and 3 come at a cost of 40 GHC and you can register for tickets here
