Parisian artist Kofi Frimpong is bringing his exhibition ‘The Reinvention of Writing’ to the London this June with the help of Rich Mix, a creative hub the supports artists.
The exhibition will feature 10 pieces, including two which have never been seen before exclusively made for Rich Mix.
Before devoting his time to his painting, Kofi sharpened his graphic sense in the world of communication and advertising. Over the years and after several exhibitions, his identity has emerged to lead to an oscillating between painting Cubism and figurative.
After the Prehistory Modern exhibition, where he showed the birth of his project back to Prehistory then right through the ages, Kofi has emerged as an artist’s personality but also the singular universe.
Today, Kofi shows an impressive maturity in his creations with influences based on the primitive arts and the pop iconography of comics in the 1960 Da Vinci’s history.
The exhibition will be on show from Friday 10th June to Thursday 30th at the Mezzanine Gallery in Bethnal Green and entry is FREE. More info can be found here
